Personal or Group Pitching Lessons

Spooky Nook Softball offers pitching lessons for beginner to advanced level pitchers. Nook Softball pitching coaches Sam Derr and Justin Zimmerman offer great instruction and years of experience. Whether you would like to learn how to pitch and build strong mechanics or you are looking to increase your velocity and accuracy, Sam can help you achieve your pitching goals. Pitchers are required to bring their own catcher to each pitching lesson.

Sam Derr played collegiate softball at Kutztown University for two years, where she was named the NCAA Division II Pitcher of the Year in 2012. Sam then transferred to Lebanon Valley College (LVC), where she collected many additional athletic and academic accolades to finish out her playing career. Sam is also on the coaching staff at Warwick High School, her alma mater.

Justin Zimmerman currently competes at a very high level of men’s fastpitch softball. He has been playing softball for over 10 years and has an extensive track record of travel to large national tournaments. Justin has competed and won and collected many honors at the highest level of his sport.
