This clinic is designed to take athletes’ soccer skills to the next level. Students will learn to master the ball and become more comfortable in pressure situations. ‘Shots’ is about shooting, hitting the target, and scoring goals. Players will attempt different types of shots unopposed to train and master the art of scoring goals. We will add defenders to the ‘shots’, which will test players’ abilities in a game-like atmosphere. ‘Stops’ is about the goalkeeping and shot stopping aspects of the game. Handling low, mid, and high balls will be covered. Goalkeepers will also learn the correct technique of diving and distribution. GKs will be put to the test against the ‘shots’ players attempting to score.
Session 1 Dates: Mondays 1/9-1/30 (7:00-8:00pm)
Session 2 Dates: Mondays 2/6-2/27 (7:00-8:00pm)
