Hardwood Courts
THE ORIGINAL VISION
Inspired by traveling to different facilities for his daughters volleyball tournaments, Owner Sam Beiler originally envisioned building a complex with ten hardwood courts. As you can see, the vision got a little bigger since then...
OUR SPORTS
We offer over 17 different sports within our complex. With such a variety, it's important for us to have the right spaces and surface to accommodate them all. Throughout our facility, you'll see a wide range of fields, courts, and more.
CONNOR HARDWOOD COURTS
Our hardwood courts, manufactured by Connor Sports, are primarily used for volleyball and basketball. The suspension system underneath the court is easier on knees and joints, which reduces risk of injury. This is also the same flooring used in all the NCAA Men's and Women's Final Four Basketball Championships!

DYNOTECH - ENERGY SAVING SOFTWARE
Dynotech is a software system that controls our HVC, lights, and basketball hoops. With the tap of a button, we can turn lights on or off in a specific section of the building without needing to walk out to that area. In a fourteen-acre facility, that saves a lot of time and helps us conserve energy

Sport Courts
The blue courts you see in the facility are multi-
purpose, snap-tile flooring. This material is one of the most durable sports flooring products on the market. We use our sport courts for volleyball, basketball, field hockey, futsal, youth programming, trade/vendor shows, corporate events, and much more!

AIR ROTATION UNITS
At The Nook, we have 5energy efficient air rotation units that saves energy by recycling the existing air. With so many open spaces and high ceilings in our facility, these units help us to ensure that everything is evenly heated and cooled.

Fitness Center
The Spooky Nook Fitness Center offers over 80,000 square feet of workout space. Included in this space is LifeFitness equipment, Jacobs ladders, free weights, boxing rig, group exercise classes, senior exercise programs, pickle ball courts, 200 meter indoor track, Nook Kid's Zone, member-exclusive turf field, and a free fitness orientation.
We know how important it is for everyone in your family to get into shape, which is why our facility is family-friendly. Our workout areas are designed to accommodate people of all levels of fitness, meaning they're non-intimidating and inviting
SPORTS PERFORMANCE
Our sports performance center is fully equipped to accommodate your training needs. You'll find plenty of equipment, a 60-yard sprint track and 30-yard by 10-yard turf field. Other training amenities utilized for athletic training include our 200M indoor track, indoor turf training hill and the outdoor sandpit.

After you’re done with your workout, stop by our smoothie bar and refuel with one of our made to order protein shakes, wraps, sandwiches and more!

The Dome & Outdoor Field
Our dome is temperature controlled, which makes it ideal for year-round play for a variety of sports. Our outdoor pitch is the official home to a variety of sports throughout the year.
BATTING CAGES & PITCHING LANES
We have 14 self-pitch batting cages, in addition to 4 full-length pitching lanes. With an additional 8,000 sq. feet of drill space, this space is ideal for baseball and softball training. From team practices to private lessons, this space can be utilized for all types of players at a variety of skill levels

RAINWATER RECYCLING
We collect rain water from 25% of the Nook's roof, which is then stored in a 300,000 gallon tank.

Indoor Diamond
Inside The Nook, we have a full-size baseball diamond that can adjust to 60, 70' and 90' base paths. This area is a great surface for youth games, as well as baseball and softball practices for all age groups. For our Team Building groups, we can also use this space for things like kickball and whiffle ball!
INDOOR TURF
The infill, 3DX turf product creates an excellent surface for soccer, lacrosse, field hockey, youth football, speed and agility training, dodgeball and more.
TEAM BUILDING
You'l find a generous menu of activities that can bring your team together at The Nook. We make team building fun and rewarding. You and your group can participate in just one activity, or you can make arrangements for your group to participate in several fun-filled activities.

TURF VS. GRASS
Turf fields are more economically-friendly than grass because of how they're maintained. Things like grass clippings and gas for mowers can, over time, have a negative impact on the environment. As we continue to grow and develop, our team is looking into property- wide landscaping options that will allow us to further reduce that impact.

Field House
Our Field House offers 53,170 sq. feet of space that
can be converted from a convention or expo set-up, to sporting fields. A variety of sports can be played
here, including lacrosse, football, soccer, rugby, softball, speed & agility and more!
EPOS
Spooky Nook Meetings & Events has accommodations for any event of any size. You no
longer need to feel overwhelmed with finding the perfect trade show location because our space can
handle nearly any size conference or trade show and contains plenty of room for private business meetings.
⭐ FUN FACTS
Both Field House surfaces can be used as either turf or sport court. Our Sports Services Team works hard to roll up and roll back out these panels of convertible turf when necessary for additional multi- purpose sport usage.

Victory Hall
In addition to our Hardwood Courts, Field house and multi-purpose sport courts, we repurposed an old storage space and turned it into Victory Hall. This multi-purpose space can be utilized for sporting events such as volleyball, futsal, basketball, and indoor field hockey to additional meeting and event spacing. This space allows smaller clinics and camps to be held on busy tournament days!

Forklift & Palate Restaurant
The Forklift & Palate Restaurant is housed along with The Warehouse Hotel and Spooky Nook Sports in a repurposed industrial warehouse. With a contemporary industrial atmosphere and unique
recycled architecture, state-of-the-art green practices, and our location alongside the nations largest indoor sports complex, you'll find plenty to discover under our roof. Enjoy classic dishes with a modern twist, two bars featuring custom cocktails, and a private event space for large groups.

REPRUPOSED MATERIALS
When we moved into this space, our goal was to recycle and repurpose as many materials as possible. From the wood used to build the bar, to the empty spools that have been revamped into high-top tables, we aimed to reuse as many existing items as possible.

We like to refer to the 29,000 sq. feet of space in Olympic Hall as a 'blank canvas? With so much open air, it gives our team the chance to make this room into an event as unique as our customers. From wedding receptions, to holiday parties, to banquets, this area can be totally customized to fit any idea.
The Nook is packed with areas that can be tailored all the way from grand to intimate. Whatever you envision for your next event, we can help you make it a reality.

BARLEY SNYDER CONFERENCE CENTER
Our facility is large enough to accommodate groups of almost any size. Which makes Spooky Nook Sports a popular place that event planners choose from when they're planning a convention, trade show, conference or meeting.
In our building, we have 700,000 square feet of flexible event space. We can accommodate up to 10,000 guests during a single event. Whether you're looking for convention facilities that can handle large crowds in one area or you need a space that's versatile enough for you to have multiple separate spaces for breakout sessions, you've found it at The Nook.

RECYCLING
Between Spooky Nook Sports, The Warehouse Hotel and the Forklift & Palate Restaurant, we recycled close to 49,000lbs. (over 24 tons) of cardboard in 2017! These entities together also recycled approximately 1,684 tons of cans, bottles, and glass that year.
