Spooky Nook Sports is proud to announce that is has been named to the Central Penn Business Journal’s 22nd annual list of the Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies in Central Pennsylvania. This is the first time that Spooky Nook Sports has achieved this milestone.
After receiving the award, Jonathan Snavely, Director of Sales & Marketing, thanked CPBJ and the entire team at The Nook by saying, “We are honored to be #15 on the CPBJ’s Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies this year. To be able to achieve this in just five years since opening our doors, it took the effort and relentless teamwork of our entire staff. Regardless of department or title, we succeed by living out an ‘all hands on deck’ mentality. Every single one of our Team Members has assisted in getting us to where we are today.”
In order to be eligible for consideration, companies were required to show revenue of at least $500,000 in each of the fiscal years ending 2015, 2016 and 2017, as well as revenue growth in 2017, as compared to 2015.
Spooky Nook Sports and the other 49 winners were honored at an awards breakfast on Monday, September 17, 2018, when the ranks were revealed.
Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies is a program of the Central Penn Business Journal and is presented by Baker Tilly. Additional sponsors included: Comcast Business, Highmark Blue Shield, McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC, Spooky Nook Meetings & Events, Union Community Bank & Robert Half.
“When we opened, there was no roadmap for us to follow,” stated CEO and Owner, Sam Beiler, “We were the first to open something of this scale that provided so many different services. Our company had to be innovative and resilient to forge a path for ourselves and try something that hadn’t been done before. We had to figure out how to be successful on our own. The importance of constantly reinventing and reevaluating yourself cannot be understated. Following trends and monitoring your industry is essential.”
