Stronger Together: Gym Guidelines

Our gym is a space where everyone belongs. By being mindful of others and following a few simple guidelines, we can create a welcoming environment where every member can thrive.

Wipe It Down, Wipe It Good

Sweat happens and that's awesome! Always use the provided wipes to clean off equipment after you're done. It keeps our fitness center fresh for the next person.

Re-Rack Your Weights

Finished with those dumbbells or plates? Return them to their proper home. It keeps the fitness center organize and helps everyone find what they need.

Share the Space

If the fitness center is busy, let others work-in between your sets or take turns. A simple "Mind if I hop in?" goes a long way. Rest is important, but if you're camping on a machine with your phone, someone else could be getting their reps in. Be mindful of time.

Respect the Mirror Zone

Mirrors are for checking form, not for flex-offs. Step back or go behind others so they can see themselves.

Dress for Success (and Safety)

Wear closed-toe shoes and gear that lets you move comfortably. Think about function first, flair second. Not sure what works best? Check out our blog for tips on choosing the right gym clothing.

Know Your Limits (and Ask for Help)

Form over ego! Start at a lighter weight, master the movement, and don't hesitate to ask a Nook trainer for guidance. That's what we're here for.

How often should I work out as a beginner?
