WEST CHESTER TWP. — The first Ohio location of the new avid Hotels brand is coming to Butler County.

Rainmaker Hospitality is investing approximately $10 million to bring the 95-room avid Hotel to 8927 Lakota Drive West in West Chester Twp., according to Jeremy Griffin, director of operations for Rainmaker Hospitality.

Slated to open in the first quarter of 2020, it will be owned and managed by Rainmaker Hospitality, under a license agreement with InterContinental Hotels Group, or IHG, which runs 15 different hotel brands.
