LANCO Catalyst Dance
Our Mission
Catalyst Dance Studio provides classes for ages 1 to 100. We have a relaxed dress code that encourages students to feel comfortable in what they wear and how they move. We value diversity and respect and celebrate differences. We encourage the belief that dance is about artistry, performance, and technique. Our students get to design their own training program that reflects what they want to learn and what activities they want to be involved in outside of the classroom. Catalyst Dance Studio has zero tolerance for body shaming. A dancer’s body is their instrument and will be taken care of as such. Catalyst means positive change and we are here to grow with you!
We strive to:
- Respect Individuality
- Highlight Strengths and accept weakness as an exciting challenge
- Encourage leadership and work together as a team
- Use critical thinking to dig deeper into the philosophy of dance
- Provide an emphasis on kinesiology and injury prevention
- Educate students on commercial and concert dance
