The Nook Baseball Center
The Nook Baseball Center offers the region’s finest youth baseball programs.

The Nook’s Baseball Academy presents eight independent instructional areas, fourteen indoor batting cages, four indoor pitching lanes, additional 8,000sq/ft. of drill space and our Nook Diamond- full sized baseball infield with approximately 125’ down the left & right field lines and 150’ in center with a 15’ wall). The Nook Diamond has dugouts, scoreboard and two levels of seating.  Outside we have multiple outdoor, lighted turf fields that are programmed for a variety of baseball tournaments and leagues.

Spring Training
Spring Training at Spooky Nook is an opportunity for your child to get a head start on the competition!  Dust off the cobwebs with this 4-week/8 session clinic focused on preparing your player for the spring season.  Your child will be put through hitting, fielding, throwing and speed & agility training by our professional staff!

Ages: 6-7 years, 8-9 years, 10-12 years
Dates: March 11 – April 3
Days/Times: Tuesday and/or Thursday, 6:00pm – 7:00pm and/or 7:00pm – 8:00pm

Pre-Season Clinic
Fine tune your skills before try-outs and pick up new skills that will help during the season. This clinic is run by Spooky Nook baseball instructors.

Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit & Run
Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit & Run (PHR) is a FREE, exciting skills event for boys and girls. Participants have the opportunity to compete in four levels of competition. These include Team Championship events at all 30 Major League ballparks and the National Finals at the MLB All-Star Game. Host a local competition for your community and be involved in the official skills competition of Major League Baseball!

Extra Work
Need some extra ground balls or extra reps in the hitting cage? Need to stretch the arm out or throw a bullpen between starts? Join us to just get some extra works in.

Player Evaluations
Use player evaluations to understand what you should work on during the off-season. Evaluations by current professional players, scouts and former pro players will help you gain every possible advantage. Choose between fundamental or physical evaluations or combine both for the complete assessment. These tests are scheduled based on the availability of the trainer and parent.

Video Analysis
Let our video software slow down your skills and show you what you are doing in the batter’s box or on the mound. Be evaluated by current professional players, scouts and former pro players. Scheduling of this 30 minute time slot is done at the availability of the trainer and parent schedule.

Small Group Baseball Training

This four-week clinic meets on Monday evenings for one hour. Players have the opportunity to learn, enhance and refine their fundamentals in a small-group setting (3-5 players). Instruction sessions are welcome to players of all skill levels.  Players are challenged individually to take their game to the next level!

Instruction focuses on: bat speed, windup, ready position, power, stride, backhands, hip rotation, arm mechanics, quick release, and extension.

Ages: 7-12
Cost: $100 per month

Pitcher and Position Player Power Arm Clinic
Develop a stronger arm and reduce the chance of injury with this proven throwing program used by professional and amateur players. Learn through mechanical adjustments, long toss, medicine ball, and weighted ball drills just for throwing. The program includes J Band.

Dates: June 15 and August 19
Time: 10:00am – 12:00pm

Off-Season Training Camp
Next year’s season starts when the current season ends. Learn what you should be working on, understand the correct way to train, and develop a plan for the off-season. The focus of this program will be strength,  conditioning, and baseball fundamentals.
