Acre Breaker Frostbite Race

Pre-registration will close at midnight on Wednesday, February 2, 2017. The Acre Breaker Frostbite Race is ready for the chill of February.  We are going to heat it up with a Sprint Race (approximate 1 mile) for cash and an Adventure Run (approximately 2.5) for those who are up for an obstacle challenge!

The sprint race will include 10+ obstacles and the opportunity to qualify for the cash wave.  The top 3 males and females from each wave will qualify.  $300 to the top male and female, $150 to the 2nd place male and female.  You must be 18 years old to register for the sprint race.

The adventure run will consist of 15+ obstacles and weave back and forth throughout the property.  Every finisher will receive an award.

Our course is set on the rugged 30+ acre field across the highway from Spooky Nook Sports.



Registration will be held on  Register for the Sprint Race or the Adventure Run.  All participants will be assigned a wave time by February 2.  Waves will be selected at random, please plan your day accordingly.  The entire Sprint Race will be complete by 11:00am.  The Adventure Run will begin at 11:00am, depending on the numbers there will be a second wave as well.

Sprint Race

  • Before January 1 – $69
  • Before January 22 – $79
  • Before February 2, $89
  • $100 on RACE DAY

Adventure Run

  • Before January 1 – $55
  • Before January 22 – $65
  • Before February 2 – $75
  • $85 on RACE DAY


Wave Start Times
Please arrive an hour before your start time!  Start times may vary based on previous wave’s finish.

Sprint Schedule (20 person max/QTT)

  • QTT 1 – 8:00am
  • QTT 2 – 8:20am
  • QTT 3 – 8:40am
  • QTT 4 – 9:00am
  • QTT 5 – 9:20am (if needed)
  • QTT 6 – 9:40am (if needed)
  • Championship 1 hour from start time of final QTT

4K Adventure Run (untimed waves begin at 11:00am with 40 person/wave max)

  • Wave 1 – 11:00am
  • Wave 2 – 11:30am (if needed)

The Acre Breaker course will be held in a large field across the highway (Rt. 283) from Spooky Nook Sports.

Course Rules 

  • Please remain on the course at all times.
  • If you fail to complete an obstacle, try again! Or do 20 burpees before continuing.
  • All members on a team must travel throughout the course together, and each person must complete an obstacle before moving onto the next one.
  • Each team member who fails an obstacle must do 20 burpees. The entire team must wait until they have finished in order to move on.
  • Stay in the lines at obstacles to move through in an orderly fashion.

All participants will be given a completion medal.

Sprint Race
Top Male and Female of the Championship Wave will be awarded $300.  Second Place Male and Female will be awarded $150.  All participants will be given a completion medal.
