If you could have personally witnessed anything, what would you like to have seen?
Wow, there have been so many amazing things to happen over time. (I’ll keep it to sport.) If I had to pick one, it would have been “The Shot;” when Michael Jordan beat the Utah Jazz for the NBA Championship with his last second shot over Byron Russell.
What question do you hate to answer?
Have the eagles ever won a Super Bowl? No they haven’t, and you know that!
What type of music do you listen to?
An equal mix of country, 90’s hip hop and Do-Wop! Yes, Do-Wop/Mo-town. Look it up and give it a listen.
Who do you go to for advice?
I have been very fortunate to be surrounded by really good people with varying experiences. Rick Van Pelt of Messiah College Men’s Basketball has been someone to help guide me through my college coaching career and raising a family. Coach VP runs excellent camps and clinics, which has helped me shape and mold our goals for camps and clinics here at the Nook.
What is the strangest thing you have ever eaten?
I can honestly say nothing. I am a picky eater and not very adventurous. Look, texture, and smell scare me away!
If you could only have one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Cereal. Yes, cereal - any kind, anywhere. Give me a bowl of cereal!
What cheers you up?
My kids’ faces. Easy answer.
How do you de-stress?
I work out every day over lunch. It creates great separation during the work day and I want to practice what I preach to our basketball athletes here at The Nook.
What is one of your biggest goals?
To work hard enough that my children graduate college debt free. I was not given the opportunity, but I will work each day to make sure that does happen for my children.
